About us
Spectrum Foundation was established to help give disabled people and their whānau the same opportunities and independence many of us take for granted. Our vision is an Aotearoa in which all disabled people have equal opportunity to live good lives.
The Foundation has five priorities impact areas: empowering disabled people to access health and wellbeing, housing, education, employment, and mana and self-determination.
To deliver on these priorities, Spectrum Foundation partners with organisations ‘on the ground’ – people doing the mahi in their communities. With financial support from like-minded individuals and partners, the Foundation funds groups and initiatives that address unmet need in the disability community of Aotearoa.
